Face Painting Magic

Hosted by The Face Paint Club and instructed by Lorna Nickels, this hands-on 5-hour workshop is for new (and newish) face painters and hobbyists who want to take it to the next level.

This workshop is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to master your brush and sponge skills to create fun face paint designs that kids adore. Certificate on Completion.

  • Dive into the world of vibrant butterflies, fearsome tigers, dinosaurs, unicorns, and more. Lorna will guide you step-by-step, ensuring you leave with a portfolio of fun, eye-catching, and money-making designs that kids will love.

  • Brush up on your onestroke brush skills, develop your linework, curls and swirls, learn how to blend colours with a sponge like a pro. If you’re not sure about one thing or another, you’ll get one-on-one guidance in our intimate workshop.

  • Our instructors use and recommend water-activated pro-quality face paints, face paint brushes, and sponges from www.facepaintshopshopaustralia.com

    Students are invited to BYO materials for their personal use during the workshop. A list of essential tools and materials needed will be provided on registration.

    No kit? No worries! We offer a small student kit - available to purchase and keep. This is totally optional, and is just $50 (discounted rate)

  • You don’t need to aspire to operate a face painting business to enjoy face painting at home, just for fun

    This workshop is designed for painters who want to brush up on their skills and knowledge.

    If you’re not planning to run a business, then you will still benefit from this workshop by learning new designs and refining your skills and techniques, however please note there will be some time dedicated to business-related Q&A

  • If you’re fully booked for months in advance, earning top dollar, and you don’t have any desire to connect with other face painters or learn new things - then your cup is full and you probably don’t need a workshop. Good for you!

    But if you’re struggling with how to market your business? Not getting much work? Not feeling confident in your skills and abilities, and/or you don’t have a reliable and safe support network of other face painters you can really trust…

    That’s where we can help.

    This workshop is for face painters who are keen to learn, who want to connect and network with other local face painters and grow their business.

  • No payment is required to register your interest.

    A non-refundable booking fee of $50AUD is required to secure a seat in this workshop (subject to availability),

    The balance of $150 is payable at least 48 hours before the workshop date.

    If you are not able to attend the workshop, notify us as soon as possible.

    Refunds - less the booking fee - will be provided only if we receive a minimum of 48 hour notice of cancellation. No refunds will be given after this time
